The NFL Combine kicks off this week, so it’s a perfect time for experts to predict insane things to go down.
What makes the perfect NFL quarterback? There’s the arm, height, and how well they can process information and read a defense just to name a few. There is no shortage of teams that need a new quarterback.
So many teams need a quarterback that a general manager told Dianna Russini that they would not be surprised if the first four picks could all be quarterbacks. This is something that has never happened in history.
There has also been a ton of buzz that multiple teams are looking to trade up to the number 4 pick which is owned by the Arizona Cardinals. They have made it clear they are sticking by Kyler Murray.
Last year’s quarterback class was rich, with 14 players at the position being selected, the most since 2016.
The Chicago Bears are widely expected to take USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the number 1 overall pick.

The Washington Commanders are also expected to take a quarterback, and that could be LSU star Jayden Daniels or North Carolina QB Drake Maye. The New England Patriots also need a signal caller for their new coach as they head into a new era.
That leaves a QB-starved team trading into the number 4 spot to make history and take a fourth QB. Unless the Chargers trade their pick, there won’t be five QBs taken in a row as Justin Herbert has his job solidified.
