Despite recent reports and photographs suggesting Gisele Bündchen has a new man in her life, it seems things are not what they seem.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Bundchen “grabbed a bite to eat at Koji in Provincia de Puntarenas” with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, which came weeks after she divorced Tom Brady.
However, Bundchen is denying the two are a romantic item.
Via the Daily Mail:
“However, a source close to Gisele has now furiously denied that they’re in a relationship, insisting that the date was anything but romantic – and noting that Joaquim is nothing more than a close family friend who has served as her kids’ jiu-jitsu instructor ‘for years.’
‘He’s been her kids jiu-jitsu teacher for years,’ the insider revealed. ‘There’s no truth to the rumors that they’re dating.’
“None of it’s true,” a source told Fox News.
“This is the kids’ and Gisele’s longtime martial arts teacher. There’s no truth to any dating rumors.”

Bündchen, who shares children Benjamin and Vivian with Tom Brady, recently finalized her divorce from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback last month.
In February of last year, the 42-year-old posted a video of herself practicing Jiu Jitsu, thanking the brothers for their guidance. “I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women. Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun. I am looking forward to keep improving. Let’s go,” she wrote.
At the start of 2022, it sounded like Tom Brady was done playing football, with the announcement that he’d be retiring from the NFL after more than two decades in the sport. The seven-time champion wrote that he could no longer offer the “competitive commitment” required to play, saying: “I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”
However, a mere 40 days later, he returned to the sport, and that seemed to drive a wedge in his marriage.
Brady coming back hasn’t been the best as the team currently sits at 5-5, but they have won 2 in a row since his divorce. Brady and company earned a 21-16 victory in Munich, Germany, behind a much better effort from Tampa Bay’s offense. Brady threw for 258 yards with touchdowns to Julio Jones and Chris Godwin.
The 5-5 Buccaneers got back to .500 with the victory and now head into a Week 11 bye as the NFC South leader.
