Lori Kruse, the girlfriend of one of the three Chiefs fans who were found frozen to death in a friend’s backyard, has broken her silence with some serious claims.
Kruse was the girlfriend of 37-year-old David Harrington, who had gone to watch a Chiefs game with friends Ricky Johnson (38) and Clayton McGeeney (36) at the house of Jordan Willis on January 7.
When they were found two days later, Willis claimed to have had no idea they were still there, insisting he had been asleep over the past 48 hours. While authorities have made it clear that they do not suspect foul play and are not treating the matter as a homicide, Kruse reckons her longtime partner and his friends were murdered, noting her boyfriend was not a drug user.
“David was murdered,” she said to News Nation’s Chris Cuomo, per Fox News. “Those three guys were murdered.
“I don’t know if Jordan gave them something like they’re talking about,” she added. “David wasn’t a drug addict like they’re talking about… David didn’t do stuff like that.”
“Maybe they did take something because they were drinking. But I know David wouldn’t have took it.
“It does not make any sense to have three men dead, laying in the yard and [Jordan] asleep for 48 hours.
“I have heard of Jordan before. I’ve never met him. I’ve heard a lot of terrible things about him. I don’t know the truth in it … David’s never had a conversation about Jordan. I’ve heard the name Jordan when he’s talking to his friends … I don’t think I’ve ever heard any stories about Jordan at all.”
Harrington’s father, Jon, has also suggested that his son may have been a victim of something more sinister.

“There were four of you in the house and now three of them are dead and you’re not. That doesn’t add up,” he said last week. “I’m thinking that he, the three of them learned something or saw something that they shouldn’t have seen, and he decided, ‘Well, I need to get rid of you now.’ Friends or not.”
Harrington’s mother has urged Willis to come forward and tell what he knows to give the families some closure as she believes he is hiding something.
