Saquon Barkley seemingly hinted to reporters that his time with the New York Giants is coming to an end while speaking to reporters on Sunday.
Barkley and the Giants stunned the archrival Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 in their regular season finale to finish with a record of 6-11. With Barkley’s contract up, there’s a good chance that Sunday marked his final game with the NFC East club.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Barkley stated that he took the time to thank each of his teammates, in case it was indeed his last outing with New York.
“I just made sure that I went around and told every single player that I’m thankful for them and it was an honor to play alongside all these guys,” Barkley said.
Barkley had 46 rushing yards and two touchdowns to go along with 51 receiving yards on two receptions in the Giants’ 27-10 victory.
