If the New York Giants were going to select a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft, you can pretty much count out the franchise selecting Kyler Murray.
On Monday, the former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback announced that he was all in to taking his talents exclusively to the NFL. Many teams could use a QB of his nature, but one of those teams won’t be the Giants.
According to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, Murray is “a little too small” for the Giants to consider taking him.
“They prefer to stick to the established measurables they have for a prototypical QB,” Vacchiano adds in his report.
The Giants currently hold the 6th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
As of right now, it seems the team will rely on veteran QB Eli Manning, but if they choose to select a QB that they like, they have an assortment of tall quarterbacks that include 6′”3 Dwayne Haskins, 6′”4 Drew Lock, and 6′”5 Daniel Jones.
