The two teams headed into the extra frame with the score tied, 21-21 after four quarters. Peppers’ excitement turned out to be justified, as his coin toss victory proved to be the difference. The Saints offense never got to touch the ball in overtime.

The victory was the Giants’ first of the season, improving their record to 1-3. As for the Saints, they fall to 2-2 after losing their first game in front of fans at the Caesars Superdome this season.
