Losing his job in the National Football League is the least of Deandre Baker’s problems. He could be doing some serious time in prison.
An arrest warrant was issued for New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker on Thursday night after the former first-round pick allegedly robbed several party-goers the day prior.
Baker, who carried out the alleged robbery with Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar and a third person, has been charged with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault.
As a result, Baker could be facing a mandatory minimum of 15 years.
Baker would face a minimum recommended sentence of 10 years in prison up to life.
Additionally, if convicted of aggravated assault, Baker could face an additional five years in prison or five years probation with a $5,000 fine, according to the state of Florida 10/20/life law.
