Germans might not get Mike McDaniel’s deadpan humor. But they get American football and know American music.
Fans gathered in Frankfurt to watch the Miami Dolphins take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, with the game having sold out. After what was a mostly uneventful first quarter, the Chiefs ended the half with a 21-0 lead.
Miami has since scored 14 unanswered points but will need to dig deep if they are to get the game back level.
The fixture has had plenty of entertainment, including one moment during the second half when all the fans came together to sing “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver.
