There are just certain positions in the NFL where the majority of people will list their top-5 and most of them will have many of the same players.
Shannon Sharpe has long been named one of the top tight ends in NFL history, but not everybody thinks so.
George Kittle joined Bleacher Report recently, and as one of the premier players at his positions, he was asked to list his top five NFL tight ends of all time.
A few were obvious, but he left off Sharpe.
Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, and Rob Gronkowski are basically easy, but Travis Kelce and Dallas Clark certainly raises some eyebrows here.
Clark may have been a dangerous weapon during his time with Peyton Manning, but his impact was never as great as the others listed. He finished his career with 505 catches for 5,665 yards and 53 touchdowns over 10 seasons. Very solid and worth a mention, but not in the top-5.

Travis Kelce is still playing and could very well be deserving of a spot, but not right now. He currently has 507 catches for 6,465 yards and 37 touchdowns.
Shannon Sharpe ended his illustrious career with 815 receptions for 10,060 yards and 62 TDs over 13 years.
There’s levels to this, and both Kelce and Clark are not on Sharpe’s level.
