George Kittle entered Sunday Night Football having never scored more than two touchdowns in a game. All he needed to see was the Dallas Cowboys defense and he would feast.
The 49ers tight end has scored on catches of 19, 38, and 10 yards to aid in the blowout of the Cowboys at Levi’s Stadium. It marked the first time Kittle caught three touchdowns in a game.
After the win, footage from the stands shows him with a savage message for the Dallas Cowboys that he wore all game long.
Kittle had just 14 catches for 148 yards over the first four games of the season and caught just one pass for nine yards in a 35-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals last week. Kittle became the first Niners player with three TD catches in a game since Vernon Davis in 2009.
The Niners knocked the Cowboys out of the playoffs in tight games the past two seasons. Sunday night’s game showed how much more talented they are than them right now.
Prescott was sacked three times and heaved three interceptions on the night.
