Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was listed as questionable for the matchup against the San Francisco 49ers after suffering an elbow injury in Seattle’s Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He was a limited participant at Tuesday’s practice but was a full participant on Wednesday.
He was so dedicated to playing in this Thanksgiving game that he was getting treatment during a production meeting with the team this week.
Before Thursday Night Football, NBC showed a picture of him on the table receiving treatment.
The 33-year-old, who earned his first Pro Bowl berth last season, has completed 65.3% of his passes for 2,404 yards and 12 touchdowns against seven interceptions across 10 starts in 2023.
Should an injury happen and he cannot finish out the night, Drew Lock is Seattle’s backup quarterback.
