I knew refs were bad in 2019, but who knew they couldn’t hear as well.
Ties 24-24 and headed into OT, Geno Smith came out to the middle of the field to call ‘Tails’ on the coin-flip to see who would get the ball, but even though he clearly said ‘Tails,’ the ref stated he called ‘heads.’
The coin landed on Heads and the Seahawks were given the ball when it should’ve went to the 49ers.
Upon further inspection, you can literally say the words “tails” or “heads” right before Geno speaks and you will hear both.
