Gardner Minshew was Mic’d Up against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and dropped bars while speaking to teammates on the sideline as he had a very witty response to Maxx Crosby referring to him as a “little A- boy.”
Crosby is, of course, one of the most feared defensive players in the NFL and quarterbacks do not enjoy going up against him. The defensive end has gone two consecutive seasons in which he’s recorded double digits in sacks and is likely to lead the league in tackles for a second straight year.
He also knows exactly what to say to get a QB off his game. But he didn’t seem to get through to Minshew in Week 17.
The DE repeatedly called the Colts QB a “little A- boy” during Indianapolis’ 23-20 win. The taunt came every time he got near Minshew, whether he hit him or not. But Minshew apparently found it funny and joked about it when he got back to his bench.
“He just keeps calling everybody ‘little A- boy.’ ‘Hey, little A- boy.’ I’m like, ‘I’m little out here, but not always – you know’,” he said with a mischievous look.
Fans absolutely loved the sneaky punchline.
