Every year during the Super Bowl, advertisers find a way to surprise fans and consumers and that’s exactly what happened when Game of Thrones and Bud Light teamed up to bring us one of the best commercials of all-time.
Budweiser has been playing with medieval fantasy for a while now with it’s “Dilly Dilly” commercials, but it came full circle on Sunday when they brought in characters from HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The commercial opens with Bud Light’s knight taking part in a joust, which ends with the Bud Light character being brutally murdered before a dragon swoops in to light everyone on fire.
