Joy Taylor is a woman who is paving her own way into sports. Not many realize that her brother is former NFL great Jason Taylor. His dynamic playin the league is not the reason she got into sports.
“It was really great growing up and seeing women who naturally liked sports, not because of their father or brother or something like that,” Taylor told the Post-Gazette. “I always refer to them because it was always normal to me. If you’re from Pittsburgh, you’re a sports fan. … It’s very much a part of the culture of the city and kind of the fabric that keeps yinzers together.”
