Carolina Panthers fans have had enough.
Thursday night’s 16-13 loss to the Chicago Bears dropped the Panthers to 1-8 on the season, tied with the Arizona Cardinals for football’s worst record. And with that, Carolina is now just one loss away from clinching its sixth straight losing season.
If you’re among the (many) fed-up fans in North Carolina, you can vent your frustrations this Sunday at the Bank of America Stadium with your fellow Panthers supporters.
On their X (formerly known as Twitter) account, the popular “Panther Nation Podcast” announced their plans to lead a march outside Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. The organizers are encouraging unhappy Panther fans to show up and “push for change.”
The 2023 season was supposed to provide Carolina fans with new hope. They hired a new head coach in offensive guru Frank Reich and landed the first overall pick via trade with Chicago so they could take quarterback Bryce Young.
The Panthers also spent a lot of money in free agency to help their new franchise QB, signing Adam Thielen, Miles Sanders and Hayden Hurst in free agency. And yet, the Panthers are miles worse than last year’s seven-win team that featured a mid-season coaching change (Steve Wilks replaced Matt Rhule) and three different starting quarterbacks.

But now, the Panthers are merely fighting to avoid football’s worst record. And fans don’t need a reminder that their 2024 first-round pick belongs to the Bears.
Needless to say, 2023 can’t end soon enough for these long-suffering and loyal Panthers fans.
