Everybdy outside of Cleveland has been basically rewarding the Browns for being in the thick of the playoff race in late December and actually winning seven games in a season as they came off a win-less campaign the season before.
On Sunday, reporters had head coach Freddie Kitchens available to answer questions when someone brought up Myles Garrett throwing shots at former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams for limiting his pass rush moves.
That’s when a fed up Kitchens let everybody in the room know that the team did crap in 2018 and their under .500 record was nothing to be proud of.
That is the perfect attitude if you want a viable championship contender, not some mediocre team that gets excited about being close to being successful.
