On Thursday night, the Green Bay Packers selected Iowa defensive lineman Lukas Van Ness with the No. 13 overall pick, but he quickly became a footnote after social media found out who he was dating.
He’s reportedly dating Frankie Kmet, who is the sister of Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet. She could be seen celebrating with him and posted on Instagram how excited she was for the linebacker.
Her Instagram has since exploded with people trying to see more of the young lady and she does not disappoint.
She currently boasts over 6,300 followers.

Frankie Kmet is the younger sister to Chicago Bears’ tight-end Cole, and they grew up in Illinois. The tandem started dating in 2022.
Frankie didn’t play organized sports for her college or high school teams, but she is a social media influencer and started growing her name on TikTok.
Lukas Van Ness committed to playing college football at Iowa and became a starter as a redshirt freshman, playing both defensive end and defensive tackle.
During his college football career, he received several honors such as Academic All-Big Ten, Coaches Appreciation Award, and second-team All-Big Ten. Additionally, he won Shawn Alexander Freshman of the Year Watch List and was named Freshman All-America by the Football Writers Association of America and Maxwell Football Club in 2021. In high school, Van Ness played two years of varsity football and three years of hockey, where he achieved 67 tackles and 18 sacks as a senior.
Van Ness was a three-star recruit who worked his way into becoming a significant player for the Hawkeyes.
In his Iowa career, he recorded 70 total tackles, 13 sacks, and 19 tackles for loss.
