The Seattle Seahawks are ready to contend this year and are now making the moves to make it happen.
When the Broncos released Frank Clark this month, there was speculation that Clark would return to a former team to continue his career.
Clark, who was released by the Broncos earlier this month, is expected to sign with the Seahawks, which is where he began his career.
“Former Broncos’ pass rusher Frank Clark is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Seahawks, per source. Clark had several teams call but he wanted to return to where he started his career.”
The two-time Super Bowl champion reportedly weighed interest from several teams before settling on going back home. Clark notably got his start in Seattle, entering the NFL as a second-round pick of the team in 2015.
During his four initial seasons, the Michigan product racked up 35 sacks and 35 tackles for loss, twice posting double-digit sack seasons. He was traded to the Chiefs in 2019 and signed a five-year, $104 million contract. He racked up 23.5 sacks and 127 tackles in his four years there.
