Frank Clark enjoyed the win over the Bengals more than anybody, because he could not wait to talk some trash.
The Kansas City Chiefs defensive end was ready to talk major crap during his postgame interviews following the Chiefs’ 23-20 win in the AFC Championship Game and he did not mince a single word.
“They said they run the damn AFC, they lied,” Clark declared. “They said we wasn’t gonna whip they ass, they lied. Cincinnati Bengals who? Who Dat? Send they ass home. Sent they ass home. Where they at? In the locker room crying. One (Ja’Marr Chase), I don’t know what the hell he did. 85 (Tee Higgins), I don’t know what the hell he did but cry all day.”
Clark finished the AFC Title game with Clark with 3 tackles with 1.5 sacks and 1 tackle for loss. He is now third all time in postseason sacks, passing former Chief Terrell Suggs.
Clark has contributed to Kansas City’s postseason success, helping the Chiefs host the AFC Championship game for the fifth consecutive year, reaching the Super Bowl twice, and winning Super Bowl 54.
The matchup is set for Super Bowl LVII, as both the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles won their home games Sunday evening.
