Johnny Manziel had a close call while jumping from a cliff in Arizona this week and he could’ve seriously lost his life.
The former NFL quarterback took to Instagram and posted a video of himself trying to jump off a cliff into the water below, only to slip off and fall awkwardly.
“Flawless execution,” Manziel, who won the Heisman Trophy at Texas A&M in 2012, joked in the caption of the video.
Frank Caliendo, who is known for his impersonations, decided to have Tony Romo and Jim Nantz call the video and it came out hilarious.
Since being out of the NFL — Manziel played for the Memphis Express of the AAF before the league folded in the middle of its inaugural season. He also played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

“If I never pick up a ball again it’s all love, Manziel tweeted in February. I was the most lit, most relatable college football player to ever do it. Did things my way and made it way further than I ever could of imagined. The game gave me life and I’ll forever be grateful,” he wrote.
