Tom Brady has been confirmed as Fox’s lead NFL analyst, with the job waiting for him whenever his playing career finally concludes.
A contract given to lead CBS NFL analyst Tony Romo in 2020, which is worth up to $17.5 million a year over 10 years, set off a round of pricey contracts. That appears to ahave happened to Brady as reports surfaced that Tom Brady will make $375 million over 10 years.
Those financial numbers might not be exactly true.
Fox Sports has released a statement refuting the financial numbers being reported.
“What has been reported isn’t an accurate description of the deal and we have not released details beyond what was disclosed on our quarterly earnings call,” the company announced, via John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal.

“Excited, but a lot of unfinished business on the field with the @Buccaneers,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion tweeted.
Brady has appeared in 10 Super Bowls, winning seven, all but one for the New England Patriots. After 20 seasons in New England, he moved to Tampa Bay in 2020, winning one more title with the Buccaneers.
He retired and then unretired this offseason.
Brady, who will turn 45 in August, has had longevity unlike virtually any other professional athlete in the sport of football. Brady nonetheless had one of his best statistical seasons in 2021. He finished with a career-high 5,316 passing yards to go with 43 touchdown passes. It was the first time in his career he threw 40 or more touchdown passes in consecutive seasons.
He remains the league’s all-time leader in passing yards, touchdown passes, completions, and attempts.
