Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James bringing up police brutality and Colin Kaepernick in the same photo sparked major backlash from Fox News host Mark Levin.
One photo shows Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin with his knee on the neck of George Floyd for some eight minutes as he pleaded for him to get up because he could not breathe.
The right side of the photo shows former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the National Anthem back in 2016 to protest police brutality.
James’ connection of the photos on Wednesday led Levin to angrily denounce him on his Friday show.
“When you have LeBron James, who knows nothing about anything related to this. … How dare he do that!” Levin said. “How dare LeBron James do such a thing! And there are others. And there are others.”
Back in 2018, Fox’s Laura Ingraham took exception to James’ criticism of President Donald Trump and promptly dismissed him altogether by telling him to “shut up and dribble.”

As you could expect, Levin actually agreed with Ingraham, saying, “I agree with Laura Ingraham. LeBron James wants to trash talk the president in the most vile way, then let’s have at it. Come on tough guy, let’s see just how smart you are.”
James used that phrase for a Showtime documentary on black athletes within a variety of different environments.
