For all intents and purposes, Tom Brady has thrown his final pass as an NFL quarterback, but that doesn’t mean that people won’t continue to ask Brady about a comeback in retirement. It also doesn’t mean that Brady won’t have some fun in those moments while teasing a possible comeback himself.
He proved that in a recent video where he stated he would come out of retirement if he hit a drone with a football from a yacht.
During a recent appearance on “Fox News,” Jimmy Failla commented on that video and gave his reason as to why the future hall of fame player will eventually announce his comeback and play during the 2023 season.
“The key to him coming back is not the accuracy of the throw, it’s the nagging daughter,” Failla said. “The daughter going, ‘Dad, you’re going to miss.’ The combination of that and how bad the Raiders’ quarterback play is going to get him out of retirement.”
Back in April, Brady was specifically asked whether or not he would consider unretiring for a second time to play for the Dolphins, the team Brady was reportedly interested in joining during his first retirement.
“Oh man. I will say, now that I’m not affiliated with any teams anymore, and I have strong ties with a couple teams, I do have some friends on the Dolphins that I really like,” Brady said, via the known agency. “I wouldn’t necessarily say that I root for them all the time, but I root for my friends to do well, and several of them play for Miami.”

The odds of Brady returning to play for anyone is far-fetched. He’s closing in on 45 years old, is the most-sacked quarterback in NFL history, and has nothing more to prove on a football field.
He’s no longer married so he does not have a wife to please, but his children do not want him to return and spend time with them, and that may be enough to keep him off that field.
But if he were to unretire for a second time, it would seem that either the Dolphins or Brady’s hometown team, the 49ers, would be the two teams that Brady would play for.
The conversation won’t stop until the 2023 season begins and ends.
