FOX has apologized for airing a certain commercial during Super Bowl 59 on Sunday night.
The network charged advertisers an exorbitant amount for their spots on the night. However, one of them was pretty controversial.
Kanye West has been on one of his runs in recent times, having made a shocking appearance at the Grammys amid some of the wildest X rants ever.
The rapper surprisingly had an ad air during Sunday’s game, showing up in a commercial recorded from his iPhone in which he asked viewers to visit his merchandise hub, Yeezy.com.
Folks who did as instructed were shocked to find a single item up for grabs: a T-shirt bearing a swastika.
Ye went viral ahead of the game for some ill-advised tweets in which he claimed to “love Hitler,” also stating, “I’M A NAZI.”

The tweets have since been deleted, but it appears the artist was looking to make some money from his newfound beliefs. He did spend several million on an ad, after all…
The commercial aired in the Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Atlanta television markets.
FOX Admitted Regret Over Kanye West Commercial
As for FOX, the network claimed to have vetted the website before airing the commercial, and everything appeared to be above board.
As such, FOX Televisions Stations CEO Jack Abernathy sent out an internal memo in which he apologized.
“We regret that these commercials aired in these three markets, and we strongly condemn any form of antisemitism,” he wrote, according to Jeremy Barr of the Washington Post.
Meanwhile, Shopify has taken Kanye West’s website down for a violation, claiming he contravened tier terms of use and failed to engage in “authentic commerce practices.”
“This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify,” the company said in a statement, per Awful Announcing.
Still, Ye is reported to have sold around $2 million worth of swastika T-shirts before the site got kicked.
