Patrick Mahomes’ week-long frustration carried over into the first half of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 15 road game against the New England Patriots.
As everyone knows, Mahomes was visibly angry and fired up after the Chiefs’ Week 14 home loss to the Buffalo Bills last week. Mahomes, of course, was furious over a Kadarius Toney offside penalty call that took the Chiefs’ potential game-winning TD off the board.
Well, Mahomes again didn’t bother to hide his frustrations in the second quarter after throwing an interception to Marte Mapu that led to a Patriots’ go-ahead field goal:
The Chiefs responded with a go-ahead touchdown, with Jerick McKinnon finding the end zone on a pass from Mahomes. Kansas City took a 14-10 lead into the locker room.
