Just because a vaccine is available for a global pandemic that brought the world to a halt does not mean everybody is on board with taking it.
According to a recent report from Mark Maske of the Washington Post, more than half of the players in the NFL have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. However, there are a few teams who have a low percentage of vaccination rates among their roster of players and coaches.
Those teams are reportedly the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars.
It was just a few days ago when Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley took to Twitter and made a strong stance against him getting the vaccine. Despite the heavy backlash, he has not wavered from his opinion.
“The NFL and NFLPA are sending a very clear message to the players: We’re not going to require you get vaccinated, but you’re in for a very long year if you don’t,” Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer said last week.
