Monday on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed meant another show filled with screaming and hot takes as well as banter between former NFL star Shannon Sharpe and longtime sports television personality Skip Bayless.
However, Monday’s show produced a tense moment over the poor performance of Tom Brady.
“[Brady]‘s still playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35, that’s the point!” Bayless said.
“That’s what you do,” Sharpe retorted. “Every time I call something into question, I’m jealous. Skip, I did what I did. You make it seem like I was a bum! I’m in the effing Hall of Fame. I’ve got three Super Bowls. … See what you do, you take personal shots. … You’re willing to take a personal shot at me to say this man is better than me because I say he’s playing bad this year? …You would disrespect me to support him!” Sharpe yelled.
Bayless told Sharpe that he was disrespecting Brady and that doing so is “beneath your dignity.”
When the tight end brought up his Hall of Fame credentials, Bayless answered, “So what?”

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy did not like this exchange, most specifically, what Bayless said to Sharpe as he called out his friend over a guy he has never met.
“Naw man Skip crossed a line this a.m.,” McCoy wrote on Twitter. “You didn’t take shots at your partner live on TV over somebody you don’t even know. You’ve never even met the man, and you take a shot at your partner. That’s bogus as heck!!”
Brady struggled mightily on Sunday, throwing for just one touchdown and two interceptions as the 49ers decimated his Buccaneers, 35-7.
We’re sure these two talked about this moment off camera to make sure their conversations never get this personal again.
