Jon Gruden may not be getting any NFL checks anytime soon, but he certainly got a nice one after selling his mansion.
Back in October 2021, he had just finished building his $4.3 million home that made him neighbors with QB Derek Carr. The two-story home, which has two lots totaling about 1.7 acres, sits on a lot that measures 0.77 acres. It has 6,850 square feet on the first floor, 1,834 square feet on the second floor and a garage measuring 1,938 square feet, according to county property records.
The home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
Gruden and his wife, Cindy Gruden, who picked up the property for $4.3 million, sold it for $7.5 million and is already in pending sale status.
Gruden, as you know, stepped down during the 2021 season after reports surfaced that he had used racist and homophobic language in private emails. Following his resignation, Gruden sued the NFL and its commissioner, Roger Goodell, and alleged that his private emails were leaked “to harm [his] reputation and force him out of his job.”

Since he is no longer a head coach in the Sin City, and likely will never get another shot in the league, he has no use for the massive home.
