Kevin Ware Jr. was taken into custody custody by the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force at a strip mall a few days ago. The former NFL tight end was arrested for violating a court order.
Dep. Marshal Alfredo Perez said: “Apparently a lot of people were very scared of this guy.
“I don’t know if they were scared of him because they heard the girlfriend was missing.”
The 40-year-old is also expected to be questioned about the disappearance of his girlfriend.
“Law enforcement officials told KPRC 2 Investigates they want to question him about the disappearance of 29-year-old Taylor Pomaski.”
Taylor Pomaski, 29, was reported missing by family members in May, weeks after she was seen at her own April 25th house party. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has said she vanished “under very suspicious circumstances and may be the victim of foul play”.
Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer missing person’s search organization, said he anticipated the worst in Pomaski’s disappearance.

‘This certainly is in no way going to have a happy ending,’ Miller told ABC13.
Eric Zulegar, a friend and former boyfriend of Pomaski’s, said he had been in communication with her in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. ‘She was in danger, she was in trouble. There was violence, she referenced a gun being pulled on her. She was very scared, very nervous,’ he said according to the network.
‘We were talking about her getting out of there, getting back on her feet, getting herself set and stabilized,’ Zuleger told KOUH11.
Ware, who played high school football in Texas, played for Washington in 2003 and the 49ers in 2004. He had four career receptions for 26 yards during his two seasons in the league.
