Former NFL star cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested in Washington state early on Saturday for driving under the influence.
According to FOX 13 in Seattle, Sherman was booked in by King County Jail at 4:51 a.m. local time for driving under the influence. The Washington State Patrol confirmed the arrest, per FOX 13, but the exact location of Sherman’s arrest was not specified.
On top of that, charges against Sherman have not been forwarded.
Sherman played in the NFL from 2011 to 2021, winning a Super Bowl 48 ring with the Seattle Seahawks. The five-time Pro Bowler spent his first seven years with Seattle before joining the San Francisco 49ers for three years (2018 to 2020).
Sherman spent his final year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. The three-time First-team All-Pro now works as an analyst for Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” broadcasts.
