Tuesday was a huge day in the NFL just days before the NFL draft after news broke that Rob Gronkowski was not only coming out of retirement, but doing so to get traded to the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Gronkowski hasn’t played since the 2018 season that ended with the Patriots winning the Super Bowl over the Los Angeles Rams.
Once that news was confirmed, ESPN analyst and former Pro Bowl safety Ryan Clark took to Twitter and stated that Antonio Brown was next to sign.
That would be a deadly offense if that happened, but unfortunately, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians has already put an end to any speculation that his team will be signing the free agent WR last month.
“Yeah, it’s not gonna happen,” Arians said. “There’s no room. And probably not enough money. But it’s not gonna happen — it’s not a fit here.”
Brown only lasted one game in New England before he got cut due to his behavior off the field.
