Philip Rivers is undefeated as a head coach.
Less than nine months after he played his final game in the National Football League, the former NFL QB made his high school football coaching debut Thursday night in Alabama when he led St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope) to a 49-0 win over McIntosh.
The Cardinals led 42-0 at halftime.

This win marks the sixth victory in program history as the school opened in 2016 and has had just three varsity football seasons prior to this fall, going a combined 5-25.
Rivers threw for 63,440 yards during his NFL career, 421 touchdowns and played in 244 games.
