After getting blown out by the Kansas City Chiefs, it is pretty much a fregone conclusion that something has to change with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The biggest issue is the QB position and whether Big Ben will be riding off into the sunset.
Aaron Rodgers may be well on his way to the Pittsburgh Steelers, as rumors surrounding the Green Bay Packers star are being brought up yet again.
During this Tuesday’s edition of Get Up, former NFL general manager Mike Tannenbaum stated his case as to why the Pittsburgh Steelers could land Rodgers in a blockbuster trade during the upcoming offseason.
Tannenbaum believes Rodgers would thrive in Pittsburgh.
“Could you imagine Aaron Rodgers with that defensive in Pittsburgh? They have playmakers at all three levels,” Tannenbaum said. “He comes in, they can fix the offense. The only thing I’m saying to Aaron Rodgers is ‘Tom Brady had that Tampa Bay defense. They won a championship. Our defense is as good as Tampa Bay’s. We can win a world championship this year with you as a Steeler.’”
Rodgers has been linked to the Steelers ever since the two teams did battle on the field earlier this year.
