When it comes to former Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks, they somehow end up finding their way into the broadcasting booth. That continued this year with Jason Garrett joining NBC Sports.
On Saturday, former Cowboys quarterback and current broadcaster Babe Laufenberg posted a picture of him and former teammate Troy Aikman and decided to throw some massive shade towards Garrett.
In his post, he stated that Garrett only loves football if he’s “paid to coach or announce it.”
“Quarterback meetings don’t always have to take place in a bar. Some guys love football. That would be Troy and Babe. ESD vs Liberty Christian,” Laufenberg tweeted. “Some guys only love football if they are being paid to coach it or announce it. That would be Jason Garrett.”
“I’m sure there’s backstory that makes this tweet less savage than it initially reads, but I don’t want to know what it is,” one user replied.

Aside from the Notre Dame football coverage he will be doing, Garrett also replaced Brees on “Football Night in America,” NBC’s Sunday night pregame show.
