Social media really wasn’t feeling what DeShone Kizer had to say in regards to the NFL’s GOAT debate.
While the former second-round draft pick acknowledges that Tom Brady’s Super Bowl ring count is almost impossible to surpass, he gave a controversial take that Deshaun Watson has a chance to make strides in the GOAT conversation with just one Super Bowl victory with his new team.
“Unfortunately TB12’s rings ruin all football GOAT discussions, but if there was ever anyone who could create a compelling argument against him it’s DW after he wins a Super Bowl w/ the Browns. Dont @ me,” Kizer wrote.
Nothing about what he siad made much sense.

The former No. 12 overall pick has a 1-3 postseason record, which came in a narrow three-point win over the Buffalo Bills in 2019. Other than that, he has some nice regular season numbers.
Watson did not register any stats in 2021 as he dealt with more than 20 allegations of sexual assault and misconduct.
While a super bowl victory in his first year with the team would be an epic comeback story, he would have to put in a lot more work to ever put himself in the GOAT conversation.
