Everybody loves a good snow game, but would have probably been taking things a little too far. Multiple weather models are forecasting even more snowfall than previously thought ahead of Sunday, when the Buffalo Bills were supposed to be hosting the Cleveland Browns at Highmark Stadium.
The National Weather Service said it’s “likely” that Buffalo could receive over 4 feet of snow through Sunday, while other models are showing up to 6 feet of snow. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Buffalo area is bracing for between three and six feet of snow from Thursday to Sunday.
Colin McCarthy of MyRadar Weather noted that one model is projecting 70 inches of snow “just south of Buffalo.”
With the threat of “paralyzing snowfall” in the forecast for Buffalo, league officials have already decided to move the game to Ford Field in Detroit.
