If there is one quarterback in the league thatis being protected more than the others, it’s Tom Brady.
That seemed to be proven as true after Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots when Dolphins linebacker Raekwon McMillan informed a reporter that a ref told him to “stay off” Tom Brady after a perfectly legal hit.
Footage of that hit has been found, and you can see that McMillan delivered a clean hit as he got rid of the ball.
After that hit is when McMillan said the ref told him to “stay off Tom.” Such a ridiculous statement to make for any quarterback, but even more so with Tom Brady.
