Russell Wilson has been the most talked-about man on social media for a few days now. Not because of what he can do on the field for his new team, but because a former player called him a ‘square’ who only got a woman like Ciara because he was rich.
Ciara and Russell Wilson’s relationship is a page out of a fairy tale, but Channing Crowder wanted to throw salt all over it.
The former NFL player has been getting blasted for stating that Wilson is a ‘square’ that could never bag a woman like Ciara without having money.
Footage has since been obtained of the Denver Broncos QB explaining how he bagged Ciara and it was all thanks to his broken-down wallet.
Russ and Ciara have spoken about their hookup before during an Instagram live session back in 2020, where the veteran QB also admitted that Ciara helped upgrade his dressing.

“I’m going to give you the credit, but listen, you stepped up my fashion game a little bit,” he said. “Everyone makes fun because I wore the Hawaiian shirt, and that’s the only photo y’all see. I’m going to Hawaii…anyways, I’ll leave that back there. But listen, you said level up, I leveled up.”
Russell also mentioned that he knew Ciara was “the one” because they liked their cheeseburgers the same way. That was clearly the sticking point right there.
