There has been so much hate thrown towards Colin Kaepernick since he chose to kneel during the National Anthem back in 2016 that it’s not shocking that something as despicable as the next story didn’t get the press that it should’ve when it happened.
Back in January 2019, a Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce used a “Colin Kaepernick stand-in” for a K-9 demonstration for a fundraiser.
A guy named josh was seen with heavy padding on as well as a 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick jersey just so the crowd could go crazy over him being attacked.
“In another video, after “Navy SEALs and Navy SEAL dogs take down Colin Kaepernick for not standing during National Anthem,” he moans something like, “Oh man, I will stand.”
Back in 2016, the former 49ers QB refused to stand for the playing of the national anthem in protest of what he deems are wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
At the time, Kaepernick said that he is aware of what he is doing and that he knows it will not sit well with a lot of people. Four years later and it continues to be true.
