Josh Brent, the former Cowboys player who once took the life of a teammate in a drunk driving crash, has once again found himself in trouble after he was arrested for public intoxication.
Brent has worked in the Cowboys’ scouting department for the last four years, but all of that may change after video surfaced showing Brent running away, fighting with, and being tased by arresting officers.
Via DFW CBS:
“Upon officers arrival, they observed Brent to be intoxicated and placed him under arrest.
Police said Brent became uncooperative with the officers by resisting the officer’s attempt to handcuff him.
After Brent ignored officers attempts to deescalate the situation, he was then tased and taken into custody.”
It was back in December 2012 when the former Cowboys star crashed his car while driving with Cowboys teammate Jerry Brown that would take his life. He would soon be charged with intoxication manslaughter, convicted and sentenced to 180 days in jail.
