We are now seeing footage from Deshaun Watson’s deposition that is highlighting some of the questions he had to deal with before he was traded to the Cleveland Browns. The video excerpts, from Fox 8 in Cleveland, revealed the QB giving answered questions relating to 22 lawsuits filed from women accusing him of sexual misconduct.
Watson was asked if he sought out a massage from one of the women because he thought she was attractive, but he would not give a direct answer to it because he had a girlfriend.
“I can’t answer that,” Watson said. “I have a girlfriend, so that wasn’t my intention.”
When asked if the woman was licensed or trained, Watson said he was not sure.
In the deposition, Watson also faced questions about driving about half an hour out of town, bringing his own towel, just for him to get a massage. The attorney asked if he thought that was a little “bit weird.”
“It is what it is,” Watson said.

Here are parts of that deposition:
Last week, the Browns held a press conference in Cleveland to introduce Watson as their new starting quarterback.
Andrea Thome, the wife of former Cleveland baseball player Jim Thome, announced on Twitter that her family canceled their season tickets for Browns games Friday after the team introduced quarterback Deshaun Watson.
“Officially cancelled our Browns season tickets today and asked for a refund as they were paid in full,” she said in the tweet. “Very sad after 40 years as a fan, but this is my line in the sand. I believe women. Especially when there are 22 of them. That press conference did nothing to change my mind.”
During the press conference, Watson denied assaulting, harassing, or disrespecting any woman.
