Henry Ruggs’ life will never be the same and he only has himself to blame. The recently released Las Vegas Raiders WR was caught on surveillance camera flying down a street just seconds before he crashed into a Toyota and trapped a young woman and her dog inside. Both the woman and the dog would burn alive in the aftermath.
The video captures Ruggs’ Corvette going at 156 miles an hour.
Authorities would later state his Stingray was going 127 MPH at the time of impact, which means he likely saw the Toyota in front of him, but it was way too late to slow down to stop that accident from happening. 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her Golden Retriever Max were both killed in the crash. Her family’s lawyer says, “Tina’s tragic loss has devastated her family beyond a grief they could never comprehend.”
“Family was everything to Tina, and she was the light of her parents’ life. Tina lived in Las Vegas since she was a baby,” the statement said. “She loved her 3-year-old Golden Retriever, Max, who passed alongside her Tuesday morning.”
The statement asked for privacy and said the family would make no other statements at this time.
Ruggs’ blood alcohol level was 0.16 — twice the legal limit, according to prosecutors. A firearm also was in Ruggs’ vehicle, prosecutors said. Ruggs faces one count of a DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm and one count of reckless driving.

Prosecutors also are exploring possible charges for the gun found in the car and may pursue a second felony DUI charge for substantial injuries sustained by his girlfriend, who was a passenger in his car.
Ruggs was released from the detention center Wednesday after posting a $150,000 bail.
The Raiders drafted Ruggs in 2020 as the 12th pick in the first round after a stellar career with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
