Last season, Tom Brady made his much-anticipated return to Foxborough for the first time since leaving the New England Patriots. While sporting new jewelry from his Super Bowl win, the legendary quarterback guided his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 19-17 victory at Gillette Stadium.
The Buccaneers released an “In the Current” video series taking an inside look at their regular season and it actually featured Brady meeting Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
In the video above, Brady and Kraft could be seen embracing each other with a hug, with the quarterback calling his former boss “nice and short.” Later in the episode, the crew captured footage of Brady embracing old teammates on the field.
“It was probably once in my career that that will happen, you know, where I’m playing in that stadium with that many people I know.”
Kraft most definitely missed Brady as he expressed frustration with his team’s recent slide of not winning playoff games.
“I’m a Patriot fan, big time, first. More than anything, it bothers me that we haven’t been able to win a playoff game in the last three years,” Kraft said Tuesday from the NFL annual meeting.
“After my family, there’s nothing more important to me than the New England Patriots and winning football games. That’s my passion, so whatever I can do — hopefully in a small way to make that happen — I’m there. I’m not happy that we haven’t won a playoff game in three years. I think about that a lot.”

The Patriots’ last postseason win was their 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
In the meantime, Brady is coming off a playoff win last year and quite possibly even more as he returned from his short retirement.
