Police bodycam footage from Damon Arnette’s arrest in July (obtained by TMZ) shows a cop calling the former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback a “f**king idiot” while apprehending him.
Arnette was pulled over in Miami just after 12AM on July 26, and the lawmen were pretty impatient with him as they had allowed him to leave a scene just hours earlier, having previously stopped him and discovering he had been driving on a suspended license.

The cops gave the player a break on the condition that he did not drive again until he got his license reinstated, so they weren’t best pleased to have to stop him a second time.
“We gave you a f**king break! You knew your f**king license was suspended,” one of the officers was heard saying.
“I got practice in the morning,” Arnette said, pleading.
But it seems as if the cops had just about had it with him.
“It doesn’t matter bro, you’re going to jail, bro,” was the response.

To make matters worse, they found a white, powdery substance appearing to be cocaine when they searched his pockets.
“Idiot,” the officer remarked. “You’re a f**king idiot, bro. You had the chance. You had the chance to go home. You f**ked it up.”
The cop would not let up and continued to berate the then-25-year-old while he was in the squad car. “Now you’re going to jail for what? ‘Cause you’re stupid,” he continued.
“Honestly, it sucks,” the cop added. “We can’t even give people warnings without them f**king it up for themselves.”
Arnette was later charged for the offenses of cocaine possession (felony) and knowingly driving with a suspended license (misdemeanor).
He remains a free agent after the Raiders cut him due to off-field issues in 2021. The former Ohio State star had brief stints with the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs thereafter.
