Nobody really had any expectations of the Los Angeles Rams coming into the 2023 season but they continue to shock people with their play on the field.
Matthew Stafford passed for 328 yards and tossed touchdowns to Puka Nacua and Demarcus Robinson as the Los Angeles Rams, who entered the game in possession of the final NFC wild-card berth, won for the fifth time in six games and pushed their record above .500 at 8-7.
The eventual NFC North champs Detroit Lions will undoubtedly be the No. seed in the playoffs as the NFC East winner and the San Francisco 49ers should occupy in the top two slots. The NFC South division winner will be fourth.
Should the Rams get the second of three wild card berths, they could be heading to Detroit.
That means that the Lions will be having their first-ever playoff game at Ford Field against Matt Stafford, their former franchise quarterback.

Detroit will look to its game against division rival Minnesota on Sunday on the road. If they win, they’ll clinch their first playoff spot since 2016 and their first division title in 30 years.
