The Kansas City Chiefs have taken to Twitter this Tuesday to share some photos of the preparations for the 2023 NFL Draft.
The reigning Super Bowl champs will see their city host the mega event at their Union Station this Thursday and have plenty of reasons to be excited in spite of the fact that they’ll be picking last in the first round.

The Draft is expected to make the city over $100 million and is considered to be the biggest-ever sporting event set to take place therein.
Kathy Nelson, the president and chief executive officer of the Kansas City Sports Commission and Visit KC has voiced as much.
“No one can really think of anything that would have been bigger,” Nelson said, per Forbes. “This is probably the largest sporting event and — possibly even — the largest event our city has ever hosted.”

Hotels, restaurants, proprietors, and transportation providers are all set to benefit from the expected influx, with food and beverage sales to contribute as well.
“It’s great for Kansas City,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was quoted as saying.
The NFL has revealed estimates noting that around 300,000 persons will be in attendance, based on the numbers from last year’s draft. It’s thought that the number could possibly approach the record of 600,000 set in Nashville, Tennessee in 2019.
