The San Francisco 49ers are not happy about what happened at their hotel.
The San Francisco 49ers received an unexpected early wake-up call Thursday when a fire alarm went off at their hotel. The 49ers are staying at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa.
It’s about 25 miles from Allegiant Stadium and would be about a 26-40 minute trip the morning of Super Bowl Sunday.
The fire alarm went off before being silenced 10 minutes later, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
No one was forced to leave their rooms as “engineering was able to deduce it was a false alarm and there was no evacuation needed,” a loss-prevention officer at the hotel told Branch.
While it’s not known why this alarm went off, 49ers personnel will surely be able to count it as one more moment of adversity in this final week of the season before Super Bowl LVIII.

The fire alarm was only the latest problem the 49ers have dealt with as head coach Kyle Shanahan previously expressed his displeasure with the condition of their practice fields at UNLV.
“We’re here. We’re practicing on it,” Shanahan told reporters this week. “Everyone has their preferences. I wish things were better, but we’ll deal with the field how it is.”
The San Francisco 49ers, led by Brock Purdy, will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, and compete for the championship title in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
