The New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers clearly don’t like each other. And it showed during today’s game between the two teams.
Throughout the contest, players from both sides engaged in several altercations. And at one point following Jameis Winston’s serious leg injury, Bucs safety Antonie Winfield Jr. was caught mocking the hobbled Saints quarterback with a rather classless gesture.
The hostilities between the NFC South foes didn’t stop once the final whistle blew, either.
During postgame handshakes, a fight nearly broke out between Tampa running back Leonard Fournette and Saints cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson. The two exchanged words and got face-to-face, with Fournette shoving Gardner-Johnson before they were eventually separated. They continued to shout at one another, but no punches were thrown during the altercation.
