The history books will say the Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl 56, but TikTok user Alyssa Eckstein will definitely have something to say about that.
The veteran prankster, who goes by the name “thealyssaway” on TikTok, scored a victory of her own when she duped her boyfriend into believing he was being featured in a commercial about big foreheads during Super Bowl Sunday.
Alyssa created the video herself. Then, with her boyfriend out of the room, she set her television up to play the commercial when he got back.
The look on her boyfriend’s face says it all.
Alyssa eventually tries to explain to him that she entered the video in an amateur commercial contest and must have won. Her boyfriend was clearly distraught by the news, saying “I don’t even have that big of a forehead,” followed by the question, “Why did you put my number on TV?”
From the creation of the video, to the quick setup during her boyfriend’s bathroom break, this was a tremendously executed plan. Hats off to Alyssa for the incredible work.
